It’s that timeeee! Yes, moms and dads
! Mobile Moms wants to give away products that will make life easier for you and your baby. We work hard to design stylish and functional products for moms/dads on the go!
Bath time is a great way to interact and have fun with your baby. Family members can get involved and bond with the baby too. You can gently massage the baby and make this a relaxing bonding ritual. Not only is it comforting and soothing but it can even promote physical growth and development. Skin-to-skin contact can help infants sleep longer, more restfully and breast feed better. Studies show that human touch and interaction with the baby can help prevent the child from acting withdrawn or reserved later on in life. Be careful not to bathe your baby too much; you don’t want to dry out his or her skin. 3x a week should be good. Most babies find warm water soothing, and this can calm a fussy baby down. Try to devote a time of day to this when there are the least amount of interruptions and do so in between feeding time (so the baby isn’t hungry or too full).
Your baby has sensitive skin, so try to be mindful of the products you use for bath times.

Sharing some important tips from a magazine article we came across:
1. Isn’t the lovely sunshine a good source of Vitamin D?
Yes it is. UV rays from sunlight trigger Vitamin D (good for forming and maintaining strong bones) synthesis in the skin.
2. What about the skin’s natural defenses?
They deplete over a lifetime. Once they”re gone, they are gone forever :(
3. What is SPF/UV clothing?
Hello new fabric technology! UV blocking shirts can range from 30 to 50 SPF. UV protective clothing first became popular in Australia, where the highest occurrence of skin cancer is found because it’s close to the equator. UV protective clothing is either made from tightly woven fabrics using a special weave or has been treated with chemicals to meet the ultraviolet protection factor. The clothes get tested to see how effective they are in blocking harmful rays.
According to Dr. Lew Slaten, Founder of the International UV Testing Laboratories,” [Based on] all the medical community’s discussion of ultraviolet rays and related health issues, the early years are the most critical in prevention of skin damage.”
His advice: “Parents should be buying fabrics that are UV protective and putting their children in fabric that has been tested so they can be assured they are getting the protection they need. It does not usually cost more to buy clothing that has been certified. This will instill a pattern of sun safety in children that will carry through to when they become adults. Sun protective clothing is for the safety of our children.”
Keep in mind that a regular T-shirt doesn’t do much. Rays pass through the loops easily in regular shirts.
4. Can the eyes get sunburned too?
Yes! Just one day in the sun can result in a burned cornea. Sunglasses are not only fashionable, they”re necessary!
5. What do you do for sunburn?
Take a cool bath, and apply aloe vera gel! It helps the skin heal quicker and eases the pain.
